Policy for processing of traffic data and marketing 1.1 ACN has established this policy for processing of its Customers’ data, and the policy applies if the data is considered personal data as defined in the Act on Processing of Personal Data. Data regarding physical persons’ names, addresses etc., same types of data regarding one-man businesses and data regarding name and position of employees of companies or public authorities are considered personal data as defined in the Act on Processing of Personal Data.
1.2 In the course of its performance of the agreement, the entering into of the agreement or in the course of its processing of data which the Customer provides to ACN while using this internet page, ACN will process certain data about the Customer. Such data will include, for instance, the Customer's birth date and traffic data such as the Customer's name, CPR no., number and address, the numbers called, the date, duration, time and extent of calls, the network which the communication originates from or terminates in and the beginning, end and duration of a connection. ACN will not obtain data about the Customer from anywhere else. Personal data is transmitted via this internet page from the Customer to ACN.
1.3 The purpose of the data processing is to enable ACN to accommodate what the Customer requests and to perform its agreement with the Customer, including that the Customer's telephone calls can be made. Further, the data will be processed for purposes of validating the information provided by the Customer, including unambiguous Customer identification and - for up to five years - in connection with Customer debiting and invoicing. The data can also be used for marketing purposes as set out below.
1.4 When the Customer provides data on this internet page ACN uses a so-called cookie. A cookie is a small file which is stored on the Customer’s pc. The use of cookies implies that the Customer does not need to provide the same data the next time the Customer provides data on this internet page. The Customer can always delete cookies on its own pc.
1.5 In connection with such data processing, ACN may hand over the data processing to data processors, including EU and non-EU group companies (such as ACN Europe B.V. and ACN Inc.), which will process the data on behalf of and as instructed by ACN.
1.6 ACN may retrieve information about the Customer from third parties, including credit rating agencies, for various purposes such as an assessment of the Customer’s financial standing.
1.7 The Customer can contact ACN Customer Service in writing in order to be informed what Customer information ACN is processing about the Customer. ACN endeavours to ensure that all information is accurate. In the event of inaccurate or incomplete information, ACN will correct the information as soon as possible.
1.8 If the Customer provides its e-mail address when purchasing products or services on this internet page ACN can use this e-mail address to contact the Customer regarding the agreement in question. Further, ACN can use this e-mail address to market electronic communication services or the provision of additional services.
1.9 When entering into an agreement with ACN on this internet page the Customer will as a starting point accept and agree that ACN may process the Customer’s own traffic data for purposes of marketing electronic communications services or providing additional services. The Customer is entitled to withdraw any consent to such processing at any time by contacting ACN.
2.0 ACN does not pass on the Customer’s data to a further extent than follows from this policy or from agreement with the Customer.
